About Me
Hi, my name is Rory! I'm a senior attending The Ohio State University majoring in Computer Science Engineering with a specialization in software engineering and a minor in business. Even from a young age I've had an interest in technology. However more recently, I have found a love for all things computer science!
The ability to create world changing programs and applications with just some keystrokes is truly amazing to me. I am eager to learn all that I can, and am looking for full time positions to expand my experience!

A repeatable sign language alphabet quiz that recognizes user input through device camera and tracks high scores!

A chatbot that recommends a song with every user input using Chat GPT 3.5 Turbo API and displayed using Gradio!
VisualSort
A website that allows you to visualize how certain sorting algorithms work. This project randomly generates an array and sorts it with one of four possible algorithms!
Lyft Back-End
Participated in a virtual program through Forage with Lyft. I refactored a disorganized Python codebase to detect when one of 12 different types of cars needed engine, battery, or tire maintenance.
Forkify App
An app that allows you to search for recipes and even add your own! It uses an outside API combined with DOM manipulation and asynchronous JavaScript. The whole project is organized using MVC architecture.
PyShop Website
A sample website for online grocery shopping. It utilizes Django framework, SQLite as a database, and Bootstrap for formatting!
Omnifood Website
A sample company website created with modern HTML and CSS fundamentals. It was built with user interface in mind and it is responsive to all devices!
Natural Number Calculator
A simple calculator that works with natural numbers. It was created with OSU's libraries, GUIs, JFrame, and is built using MVC architecture!
